Mimosa Healthcare recently held its first annual Managers' Conference. The event, held at the Village Hotel in Nottingham took place on the 11th and 12th May and was attended by all the group's home managers, the senior management team, as well as Anthony Massouras, Mimosa's Chief Executive.
Sharon O'Connor, Mimosa's Managing Director lead the proceedings and key speakers included Brenda Conway from Age Concern, Emma Hutton from Nottinghamshire County Dementia Outreach Service and Robert Nisbet, Regional Programme Manager for Safegarding Adults and Dignity in Care. Staff were delighted that a resident from Mimosa's Clarence Care Home, Phyliss Pitchford and her daughter were also able to attend and talk about their experiences of care homes.
The event was sponsored and attended by some of Mimosa's suppliers including Proton, Countrywide Healthcare, Walker Fire, Brakes Food, Purchasing Support Services, Clifton Quality Meats, as well as Deetronic and Catering Engineers (NW) Ltd.
The conference was a great success and thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. Everyone is looking forward to this becoming an annual event!
