Different people need different kinds of care
The staff at Mimosa Healthcare range from 16 year-old, enthusiastic general assistants to experienced nurses with decades of medical training. Mimosa staff reflect the broad range of people we care for at general residential and specialist homes.
Our care covers four main categories:
The elderly
We care for those 55 years and over who for one reason or another would benefit from living with us at a Mimosa home. We also welcome people coming for just a day or two’s respite or short term palliative care.
Those with physical and learning difficulties
Some people find the world too challenging a place and are much happier either having a short stay or living long-term at a specialist Mimosa home.
Retired people
2-bedroom retirement bungalows are available for sale or to rent in the grounds of Thorton-le-Dale home in the North Yorkshire national park.
People with alcohol-related issues
People who find themselves dependant on alcohol can go through our successful rehab programme at Linwood Manor in Lincolnshire. Residential treatment includes 7-day detox, rehabilitation and recovery or time-out to have a respite and regroup.
