Byron Lodge
Provides nursing and residential care in addition to nursing and residential care. The Care Home was built in the year 2000. It is purpose built and boasts an impressive reception area. The Home is bright, airy and spacious. The two floors are easily accessible to all service users and their visitors by means of a thirteen people passenger lift.
The Home is staffed by qualified and competent nursing staff, senior carers and care assistants.
The individuality of our service users is of paramount importance and they are encouraged to make active choices in all aspects of their personal and psychological care - this is reflected in a detailed, individualised and holistic care plan for each service user.
The Home has an Activities Co-ordinator who organises a varied range of social activities. Situated in the picturesque village of West Melton, the village of Wentworth is a few miles away with its Woodhouse, garden centre and park. The local Post Office is five minutes walk away and the town of Wath upon Dearne is one mile away which has a community library, restaurants, local shops and a weekly market.
